The Blackberry that’s a Perfect Fit Meet the New Curve 9380!!!
So Blackberry has a new device which I’ve had some time to play around with, it’s a relatively small and simple device but non the less a full fledge Blackberry without a keyboard as this one is all touch.
The Blackberry curve 9380 is the first Curve ever to come with a touchscreen. It measures 3.2” in diagonal and comes with HVGA+ resolution.
The curve feels light in hand and has a bright screen which is easy to read, I personally like the dialing pad which is good as its easily legible. Also the placement of the access buttons such as the answer/end keys on the trackpad blend well with the device. My only issue is with the blackberry home button’s responsiveness which is abit uneasy but the trackpad functions perfectly fine.
The display is fluid when you swipe through and crisp it also features a 5MP camera with flash, the pictures come out pretty clear and a little bit more than you’d expect from the curve.
The new Curve also runs on a 806MHz processor and has 512MB RAM and 512MB internal memory expandable via the microSD slot. The connectivity package is quite good, though, featuring Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G with HSPA and NFC capabilities.
My overall impression its a great starter phone if you want to save money and just need a Blackberry. It’s a good device to have either as a teen or young adult as the design is simple and pocket’s easy, also great for night outs when you’d like to have fun and not loose your phone.
