$7,500 24ct Blackberry Porsche Design P’9981

Blackberry released the Porsche Design a while back which retailed for a mere $2000 and has seen its fair share of success in the market. Now for the luxury fans out there if the original Porsche Design wasn’t exclusive enough for you, then meet the 24ct Porsche Design that retails for a whopping £4,799.99 or an estimate of $7,500.

100 of these devices will be made and you will have the option to select which type of keyboard you would like, UK spec “QWERTY”, EU spec “QWERTZ”, and an Arabic keyboard. Each sale will have 10% from the seller donated to an unspecified charity

Now you can certify your baller status within your social circle, and when they ask you WHY!! YOU CALMLY REPLY BECAUSE MONEY AINT A DAMN THANG AROUND HERE “Que the douche bag smile and wink” ;p success feels good doesn’t it.

Feel free to hunt for this device as availability seems to be depleted, at least you can now conduct your own gold expedition. Email us and send a pic of your device if you are able to obtain one. I personally wouldn’t mind a regular Porsche Design :-)

Take a Look at What BBM 10 could look like at Launch

BBM 10 is shaping up nicely thanks to RIM acquiring TAT “The Astonishing Tribe” who are in charge of the UI for the new BBM 10.

According to N4BB the N-Series will allow for keyboard shortcuts such as C for new chat. T for top, N for next day, and S for search, etc. The BBM “user profile” is also getting some needed changes with an easy navigation bar to switch between a users timeline, installed apps, and barcode.

The BBM 10 is also said to feature new themes which is pretty exciting for those who like to give their chats a little customization. Good job RIM.

Free Outdoor Wifi Coverage in London!!!
With two days to go until London’s Olympic opening ceremony, British carrier O2 has launched a free Wi-Fi network across a large portion of the city’s West End. Covering the shopping areas of Oxford Street and Regent Street, the theatre district around Leicester Square, and the museums on Exhibition Road, the network will remain in place following the conclusion of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in September.
A joint venture between the Telefónica-owned carrier and two boroughs — Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea — the free service is funded by advertising. After a one-time signup process, users are presented with an O2 homepage, initially featuring content from department store House of Fraser. According to a press release, advertising has the potential to update “depending on the users’ location,” offering targeted promotion for nearby shops and attractions.
Philippa Roe, leader of Westminster Council, tells the BBC that the scheme is part of a “long term project to help make London one of the most technology-friendly cities in the world.” Virgin Media began rolling out a similar service to select London Undergound stations in May, and plans to charge for access following the Olympic tourist-surge. It’s not clear exactly how long O2’s free Wi-Fi will last, but a spokesperson tells us that it will remain “well beyond the end of the Olympic Games.”

Twitter is Developing a Tool to Allow You to Download All of Your Old Tweets!!!
Ever wanted to download your old tweets but couldn’t, well good news from Twitter CEO has arrived.
Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo told The New York Times that the social network is working on a tool to let users retrieve all of the updates they’ve posted to the social network.
“We’re working on a tool to let users export all of their tweets,” Costolo said. “You’ll be able to download a file of them.”
Some third-party services have come up with workaround solutions to this problem, including one new site calledOldtweets, which lets users search through all the tweets posted to Twitter in the first year after the social network launched.
Costolo wouldn’t say when the tool might launch, noting that the tool isn’t as simple as it sounds to make, and requires a good amount of manpower and ingenuity.
Patience tweeps in good time you’ll be reading your fun and also embracing tweets.

Photo of Blackberry Playbook Running OS 10.0.4 Pack 197 Surface!!!
There’s a little light at the end of the tunnel, although we’re not sure if its sunlight or a train coming. However it seems like the Blackberry playbook 4G could end up running OS 10 at its launch according to a picture obtained by FR.
What do you think? could this revelation be your reason to hop onboard the RIM tablet train? or simply stand by and wonder if its a train or sunlight at the end of that tunnel :p.

The Blackberry that’s a Perfect Fit Meet the New Curve 9380!!!
So Blackberry has a new device which I’ve had some time to play around with, it’s a relatively small and simple device but non the less a full fledge Blackberry without a keyboard as this one is all touch.
The Blackberry curve 9380 is the first Curve ever to come with a touchscreen. It measures 3.2” in diagonal and comes with HVGA+ resolution.
The curve feels light in hand and has a bright screen which is easy to read, I personally like the dialing pad which is good as its easily legible. Also the placement of the access buttons such as the answer/end keys on the trackpad blend well with the device. My only issue is with the blackberry home button’s responsiveness which is abit uneasy but the trackpad functions perfectly fine.
The display is fluid when you swipe through and crisp it also features a 5MP camera with flash, the pictures come out pretty clear and a little bit more than you’d expect from the curve.
The new Curve also runs on a 806MHz processor and has 512MB RAM and 512MB internal memory expandable via the microSD slot. The connectivity package is quite good, though, featuring Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G with HSPA and NFC capabilities.
My overall impression its a great starter phone if you want to save money and just need a Blackberry. It’s a good device to have either as a teen or young adult as the design is simple and pocket’s easy, also great for night outs when you’d like to have fun and not loose your phone.

  2. The manage panels screen will now display a list of panel menu’s.
  3. Finally you can check and uncheck the boxes which turns on/off the panels you would like to keep or remove. The All panel remains you are unable to remove this panel which makes sense.
